Another Dominican in the person of  Daphney Magloire has completed her doctoral degrees.

Dr. Daphney Magloire graduated from the  Northern Caribbean University in Jamaica on August 11, 2019, with a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Education.

Dr. Magloire served as the principal of the Dominica Seventh-day Adventist Secondary School for many years. Presently, she is the Education Director of the East Caribbean Conference of Seventh-day Adventist, where she continues to shape education in a dynamic way between Dominica and Barbados.

Dr. Magloire is from the village of Bourne.
