Palm Island Resort is searching for a passionate, creative, dedicated, hands on and experienced Executive Chef who can enhance the Culinary Experience of a well-known all-Inclusive Caribbean Resort.
- Have a minimum of 5 Years’ Experience in 5 Stars All Inclusive Resorts – Caribbean All Inclusive Resorts will be a plus
- Accountable for the Overall Success on the daily Operation of the Kitchen
- Knowledge of various Local and International Cuisine such as Caribbean, French, Italian, Asian.
- Able to Create new Menus & Costing
- Must be able to upgrade the Kitchen Operation and maintain high Standards of Health, Safety and Sanitation (HAACP/Serve Safe)
- Manage the Kitchen Personnel and Supervise/coordinate all related Culinary Activities for two Kitchens and one Canteen
- Estimate Food Consumption and manage the Food Requisitions and Costs Control
- Manage all Kitchen Areas to ensure a consistent high-Quality Product is produced at all times
- Have experience in Overseas Orders
- Ability to plan and promote the Menus and standardize Production Recipes to ensure consistent Quality
- Have experience in the Completion of the Annual Operational Budgets
- Possess strong Management, Leadership, Organization, Communication & Customer Service Skills
- Good knowledge of Computer
- Hands on, able to work & train the team to reach outstanding Standards

- Able to function under pressure
- Able to live and work on remote Island
