Vacancy Announcement: Executive Chef

Palm Island Resort is searching for a passionate, creative, dedicated, hands on and experienced Executive Chef who can enhance the Culinary Experience of a well-known  all-Inclusive Caribbean Resort.

  • Have a minimum of 5 Years’ Experience in 5 Stars All Inclusive Resorts – Caribbean All Inclusive Resorts will be a plus
  • Accountable for the Overall Success on the daily Operation of the Kitchen
  • Knowledge of various Local and International Cuisine such as Caribbean, French, Italian, Asian.
  • Able to Create new Menus & Costing
  • Must be able to upgrade the Kitchen Operation and maintain high Standards of Health, Safety and Sanitation (HAACP/Serve Safe)
  • Manage the Kitchen Personnel and Supervise/coordinate all related Culinary Activities for two Kitchens and one Canteen
  • Estimate Food Consumption and manage the Food Requisitions and Costs Control
  • Manage all Kitchen Areas to ensure a consistent high-Quality Product is produced at all times
  • Have experience in Overseas Orders
  • Ability to plan and promote the Menus and standardize Production Recipes to ensure consistent Quality
  • Have experience in the Completion of the Annual Operational Budgets
  • Possess strong Management, Leadership, Organization, Communication & Customer Service Skills
  • Good knowledge of Computer
  • Hands on, able to work & train the team to reach outstanding Standards
  • Guest Oriented & Personalization
  • Dedicated, passionate, hard worker
  • Able to function under pressure
  • Able to live and work on remote Island

Position available immediately with a single Accommodation
