It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Mr. Glenn Pierre of St. Joseph who resided at Checkhall and previously at Layou, who died at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital on Tuesday 12th April, 2022.
He was the son of the late Miss Isaline Pierre from St. Joseph
He is survived by:
Children: Jason Pierre in England. Christopher Pierre and Emma Jamieson in Canada; Dr. Johnathan Pierre in the United States
Grand Children: Leon Pierre and Audrey Jamieson
Sisters: Dr. Hazel Shillingford Ricketts, Mrs. Janice Jean-Jacques Thomas and Jennifer Daley
Brother in law: Vivian Thomas
Nephews: Anthony, Peter and Mario Ricketts
Nieces: Jessica Ricketts-Esprit, Jovanna and Javianne Thomas
Other family including Members of the Pierre family in St. Joseph
Former neighbors in the village of Layou and the Community of Checkhall
Friends including: Nicole Paul, Phyllis, Merle and Webster Shillingford and Lisa Pendenque and family.
Many other relatives, friends and acquaintances too numerous to mention.
The body of the late Glenn Pierre will be transported from Gentle Rest Funeral Services for viewing at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday 21st April, 2022 at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Funeral Service starts at 3:00 p.m; followed by interment at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in St. Joseph.
