WePlanet Inc, a non-profit social enterprise founded by 5 young women from the Commonwealth of Dominica, is excited to announce the launch of its GoFundMe Crowdfunding Campaign to raise 10,000USD. The campaign aims to raise funds to support WePlanet Inc. in revolutionizing the way we are empowered to live sustainably in Dominica and the Caribbean by extension.
The social enterprise has developed a mobile web application that rewards people for living an eco-friendly lifestyle and doing simple eco-actions like shopping with a reusable bag. WePlanet Inc. is tackling environmental issues by raising eco-consciousness amongst citizens in Dominica and the Caribbean through innovative-incetive based solutions. Their social enterprise values learning, earning, and making an impact! WePlanet’s innovative approach to environmental issues has already began making a significant impact in the Caribbean region. The app was officially launched June 3rd 2022 and since then WePlanet’s efforts have not gone unnoticed, and they have been recognized by local and international organizations.
The funds raised through the GoFundMe Crowdfunding Campaign will allow WePlanet to take its mission to the next level. WePlanet Inc. aims to provide bigger rewards for eco-friendly behavior, onboard more Eco-Partners, launch its Ambassador Program, expand regionally, and increase App features and functionalities. These efforts will help WePlanet to scale its impact and empower more people to live a greener lifestyle.
