Update: Man Charged With Murder Of Wheelchair Bound Man At Canefield

According to Superintendent Matthew Cuffy, Head of the Criminal Investigations Department(CID), 25 year old, Aljai Liverpool has been charged with the murder of Ellingworth Frank of Eggleston but who resided at Canefield.

According to Superintendent Cuffy, Frank was found on Wednesday 16 September, when the police responded to reports of an unresponsive male adult in the drain adjacent to the Canefield East bus stop. The individual was later identified as Ellingworth Frank. Frank who is wheelchair bound was found with several lacerations to the forehead.

Liverpool appeared before Magistrate Michael Laudat where the charge was read to him. He was not required to enter a plea.

Superintendent Cuffy commended the staff of the CID for their hard work as well as other members of the CDPF who assisted in bringing the matter to a resolution.
