The Ministry of National Security & Home Affairs hereby informs the General Public that following a period of temporary interruption of service at the Civil Registry due to software difficulties, as of Thursday 21st April, 2022, the Civil Registry is now fully operational and opened for business.
The public is hereby reassured that all software and other technical issues have been resolved and that the public now has full access to our varying services inclusive of SAME DAY ISSUANCE of all life certificates. For avoidance of doubt, please note that Birth Certificates, Non-marriage Certificates, Marriage certificates, Death certificates and Burial permits are currently being issued at the Civil Registry upon completion of an application form and the processing of the requisite payment. The processing of statutory declarations and deed polls have also resumed and the Public is now able to make any inquiries on birth, marriage and death records as may be necessary for the conduct of business.
The Ministry of National Security & Home Affairs apologizes for the interruption in service at the Civil Registry and for any inconvenience this may have caused to the Public, and thanks you for your patience and understanding.
We wish again to inform the Public that the Civil Registry is currently opened during the usual business hours and the staff are ready and waiting to serve you at our new location on the 2nd Floor of the Post Office Building, Dame Mary Eugenia Charles Boulevard, Roseau.
