Prime Minister, Hon. Roosevelt Skerrit participated in the Caribbean Financial Access Roundtable on Wednesday in Barbados.

The meeting was co-hosted by the Prime Minister of Barbados, Hon. Mia Amor Mottley and the Hon. Maxine Waters, Chair of the US House of Representatives Financial Services Committee.

The meeting addressed matters related to de-risking and correspondent banking, the impact of EU listing initiatives, and actions at the international level to combat money laundering. Below is an audio of the Prime Minister speaking after the event.
