Pharmacist and Public Health Educator Says Be Truthful to Prevent Disease Complications

Pharmacist, Public Health Educator, and Talk Show Personality, Carlton Languedoc issued a warning to the general public about listening to their neighbors and not following official medical advice.

He said that many times a lot of the complications with diabetes may be prevented if persons would be truthful with themselves and their doctors.

Languedoc says that there is nothing such as ‘having a trace of Diabetes’. It is either one is Diabetic or not.

Further, not taking sugar is not enough in preventing Diabetes as foods such as rice, bread, and provisions are converted into sugars. Therefore one must also watch his consumption of these kinds of foods. Languedoc made these comments at the Annual General Meeting of the Dominica Diabetic Association (DOMDA).
