On Friday 20, December the Ministry of Agriculture held its annual produce giving ceremony at the packhouse of the Dominica Export Import Agency (DEXIA).

Recently appointed Minister of Agriculture, Hon. Fidel Grant, expressed his thanks to the Dominican farmers who donated the produce and commended the staff of the Ministry of Agriculture for the hard work they do which sometimes go unnoticed.

The recipients of the donation of produce, beef, fish and pork include the Princess Margaret Hospital, the Dominica Infirmary, Community Hostel Inc (formerly known as the Grotto Home for the Homeless), the Reginald Fitzgerald Armour Hospital and the Northern District Home for the Homeless.
