The company manages the Dominica National Lottery in the island of Dominica, through its wholly owned subsidiary CBN Dominica Inc. (CBND).
We are seeking a Brand Manager with exceptional leadership skills to work closely with our marketing team for the development of new and existing product lines. As Brand Manager you will report to the Regional Marketing Manager to develop strategic and tactical sales and marketing plans to expand the Lottery’s presence and image in Dominica. You will work closely with our customers and agents to identify opportunities and to strengthen advertising, communication plans for the brand or brands assigned to you. This is an opportunity for your management skills to shine as you provide guidance and mentoring to our agents. You will join a team and organization with a product line of several well established, well known national brands and you will generate strategies to grow market share.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of supervision.
- Knowledge of marketing goals/strategies.
- Ability to develop/implement strategic plans.
- Knowledge of sales and marketing management principles.
- Ability to communicate with internal/external stakeholders.
- Must be passionate about sales and should have the right attitude and aptitude to deliver.
- Strong leadership and decision-making ability.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- At least a BSc in Business Management, Sales or other related discipline from a reputable institution.
- At least two (2) years working experience in sales and marketing.
- At least two (2) years of proven supervisory or managerial experience.
- Experience of work-related achievements in fast moving retail goods would be asset.
The position requires that the candidate have a valid driver’s license, a reliable working vehicle and the ability and willingness to travel on occasion.
