The Emergency Agricultural Livelihoods & Climate Resilience Project (EALCRP) of the
Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Blue and Green Economy, Contingency Emergency
Response Component (CERC), Value Addition in Agricultural Development specifically
AGRO-PROCESSING wishes to advise applicants that facilities/site visits have
commenced today Monday June 10 th 2024, and will be undertaken until July 12 2024.
The purpose of the site visit is to carry out interviews and to verify and fact-check
against the applications submitted. This will be undertaken by a five (5) member team
from the Division of Agriculture, Bureau of Standards, Environmental Health and Small
Business Unit.
In this regard processors are asked to make all necessary arrangements to ensure that
the team has access to production, prep and packaging areas within the appointment
time agreed on.
The main objective of the CERC is to minimise food insecurity on island while
strengthening the value chain systems of agricultural commodities.
The CERC-Agro-processors component was launched in April 2024 and is expected to
be completed by October 2024.
