Stories by Children Launches Volume 3: “Mission Mango” at Family Fun Fair

The Stories by Children Committee proudly announces the launch of Mission Mango — a captivating collection of short stories and prose written by children in Dominica and the diaspora. This much-anticipated third volume was officially unveiled on May 31, 2025, at the Goodwill Primary School grounds, during a vibrant Book Launch and Family Fun Fair.

With the release of Mission Mango, the Committee celebrates the successful publication of three volumes in the Stories by Children series:

  • Volume 1 – Family
  • Volume 2 – When I Grow Up
  • Volume 3 – Mission Mango

The initiative continues to nurture the creativity of young writers, cultivating a new generation of storytellers and dreamers. This year’s Book Launch and Family Fun Fair was not only a joyful milestone for the Committee but also a proud and inspiring moment for the young authors and their families. A highlight of the day was watching the children beam with pride as they received their books and signed copies for excited patrons.

To date, 47 young authors have been published through the Stories by Children series – some of whom have contributed to multiple volumes. The Committee is thrilled by the strong and growing support from children, parents, educators, and the broader community. With this momentum, plans are already underway for Volume 4, and submissions are eagerly anticipated.

The Stories by Children books are available for purchase at Jay’s Bookstore in Roseau and online via Amazon and storiesbychildren.org. Each volume features relatable and imaginative stories, charming illustrations, and vibrant, high-quality layouts—rivalling any children’s publication on the global market.
