The annual concession on barrel imports will collectively save millions of dollars for Saint Lucian families and households during the upcoming holiday and Christmas season.  

If you’re importing a barrel between November 1, 2024, and February 28, 2025, here’s what you can expect:

✅100% waiver on import duties
✅Pay no VAT on imported barrels
✅Health and Citizen Security Levy will NOT be charged on imported barrels
✅Upper limit of $3,000 on the value of each item per barrel

(NB: Barrel items must be for personal use only. Electronic items are not included)

The annual concession on barrel imports is scheduled to end on February 28, 2025.
