The Dominica Solid Waste Management Corporation (DSWMC) is thrilled to announce the return of Garbage Truck GA 734 to active duty in the Portsmouth area! After undergoing critical repairs, this reliable vehicle is back on the road to ensure smoother, more efficient residential waste collection for communities in the northern part of the island.
The repairs, made possible through funding from the Government of the Commonwealth of Dominica (GOCD) and the tireless work of DSWMC’s dedicated mechanical team, willsignificantly improve waste discharge operations. This upgrade means faster, cleaner, and more reliable waste management services for residents.
The DSWMC applauds residents of Portsmouth and the north part of the Island for their ongoing commitment to waste separation, reuse, and responsible disposal. Your efforts in recycling, composting, and proper storage of waste make a real difference in keeping Dominica clean and sustainable.
As we reintroduce GA 734 to the fleet, we remind the public to continue:
Together, we can build a greener, cleaner Dominica!

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy.
