 Clinical Psychologist

Dominica State College solicits applications from suitably qualified individuals to fill the vacant position of Clinical Psychologist. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Identify psychological, emotional, or behavioral issues
2. Diagnose psychological, emotional, or behavioral disorders
3. Develop and implement treatment plans and therapeutic processes
4. Help students to define goals and plan action to achieve personal, social, educational development and adjustment
5. Monitor students’ progress through regular meetings or sessions
6. Set up online counseling sessions 
7. Be able to present end of semester reports or statistics  

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate for Counselor should possess:

• At least a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology 
• At least five years experience working in the field of counseling, diagnosing, and therapeutic interventions 
• An up-to-date license as Clinical Psychologist from an authorizing agency or institution
• Experience doing online counseling
