The Grade Six National Assessment will be sat this year in spite of COVID-19 says Assistant Chief Education Officer, Dr. Jeffrey Blaize.
According to Dr.Blaize, the students have been preparing for the exam for many years and information from the exam is very important for the Secondary schools and as such the students will receive the opportunity to sit the exams.
Dr. Blaize said that many of the students are ready for the exams and as such ‘you dont want to disappoint them’.
The Ministry will ensure that regulations are followed in order for the students to be safe.
Dr. Blaize made these statements on Thursday during the Ministry of Education’s ‘Education in Action’ Programme.
