The 6th annual Credit Union Fun Day was held on Sunday 6 October at the Botanical Gardens. The day was complete with competitions, fun, food and music – an affair for the entire family.
General Manager of Corp-eff Insurance in his welcome remarks, said that the day is intended to provide an opportunity for credit unions to “fraternize and be entertained in a clean and fun-filled atmosphere”.
He said Corp-eff recognizes the importance of such an event and pledges its support as long as the opportunity presents itself. The West Coast Credit Union took away the prize for the Best Customer Service Booth, while Central Cooperative Credit Union emerged as first-place winner of the competitions.

West Coast’s booth was beautifully decorated in Orange and white complete with games and activities. Patrons were engaged in aerobics, food eating competitions, races and games like dominoes.
There were also bouncing castles and basketball hoops to entertain the young ones. Also present were representatives of the Health promotion Unit along with a nurse who checked blood pressure and glucose levels on site.
The day ended with performances from Rennick Toussaint from Signal Band.
