A high-pressure system will remain the dominant feature across the area during today. Occasional cloudiness and a few scattered showers can be expected, mainly across the central portions of the island chain during the period. Thereafter, by tonight into Wednesday, a weak low-level trough is projected to move across the area.
Moderate seas are expected during the next 24 to 48 hours with waves peaking near 7.0 feet.
