The North Eastern village of Bense comes to life this Sunday 12, May 2019 from 12:00 noon for the ‘Water is Life’ Festival. It promises to be an extraordinary event.
There will be informative and educational speeches from environmental institutions, highlighting the importance of protecting our water sources. As well as live music and performances from local artists, young as well as those a bit older.
We will also be showcasing the region’s deliciously creative local cuisine, including Shipping and Goat Water, Roti, BBQ Red Fish, Green Banana Salad and Codfish Tarts. Also available to satisfy your taste buds will be beloved goodies like Guava Almond Tart, Coconut Layer Cake, Chocolate Cake with Caramel and Coconut Nuts, and various frozen desserts including ice cream, Greek frozen yogurt, and sorbet, all in innovative & sugar-free local flavours.
