UWP Seeks Help in Alleged Missing $1.2 Billion Matter

UWP Seeks Help in Alleged Missing $1.2 Billion Matter

The United Workers Party on Monday presented letters of complaint to the office of the President, Police Chief, and High Court in an attempt to get answers to questions raised some months ago regarding an alleged discrepancy in figures presented in the National Budget.

The UWP wants the court to determine whether action can be taken to force the Prime Minister to account for the alleged missing 1.2 billion dollars from the Citizenship By Investment Program.

Further, the party hopes that the president and police chief will use their offices to bring some resolution to the matter. The Party held peaceful gatherings at different locations around the capital city as they delivered the letters of complaint.
