Joicy ascended in the nursing education system first, by earning an Applied Associate Degree in Nursing from Queensborough Community College, at City University of New York.  She then embarked on achieving a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from Adelphi University, New York, and a few years later earning herself a Master’s Degree in Nursing with a specialty in Geriatrics from New York University, (NYU). 

Dr. Edwards, has shown incredible dedication to her studies, and that of your commitment to your education has paid off.   This is an incredible milestone and an achievement that you should be proud of and you’ll continue to be an example to others.  As you prepare to embark on the next phase of your journey, we wish you the best and take comfort in knowing that you have made a significant contribution to your community the village of Victoria, Delices, Dominica.

So, Jane Joicy Edwards, DNP, MSN, GNP-BC from Victoria, Delices, Dominica we say again WE ARE PROUD for all you have achieved as an active; mentor, wife, full-time worker, student and yet graduated with HIGH DISTINCTION.  Our hats go OFF to you.
