Ministry of Trade, Commerce, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Business and Export Development, in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, International Transport and Maritime Initiatives, Ministry of Blue and Green Economy, Agriculture and National Food Security and the Ministry of Sports, Culture and Community Development, as well as a number of strategic public and private sector partners present “Ti-Vilaj Kwéyòl!  Tout Biten Domnik” (TVK)

Ti-Vilaj Kwéyòl presents an excellent opportunity for locals and visitors alike to convene and celebrate various aspects of our culture and traditions. With the support of various strategic public and private sector partners, this four-day event seeks to compliment the flagship World Creole Music Festival, as it reverts to the original vision of a daytime event that showcases exclusively local talent and performances, everything that makes us uniquely Dominican.  Additionally, and in keeping with the theme Tout Biten Domnik, the event will highlight all of Dominica’s locally produced products by presenting a readily available market for them and showcasing everything that is made in Dominica. The intention is to create a lively venue for showcasing our cultural traditions, art, fashion, dance, music, food and beverages, products, and agriculture. It will be an opportunity for visitors and residents to enjoy all these aspects as well as shop for locally made products.

The following aspects will be part the TVK

  • Cultural performances (on stage and on the grounds)
  • Local bands and DJs
  • Small businesses with value added products
  • Kweyol fashion show
  • Cultural nostalgic corner
  • Agriculture food displays
  • Agriculture live demonstrations – Apiculture, seed planting, wood carving, cooking
  • Food court with bars and local food
  • Children’s playground
  • Look and feel of a village with live village scenes throughout

FLOW Dominica has partnered with the Government of Dominica in hosting this event, and is major sponsor of this event.  Other partners and sponsors include Belfast Estate Ltd, Petro Caribe and Josephine Gabriel & Co. Ltd.
