oday, April 20, marks the official start of what is commonly referred to in the academic calendar as the Third Term or Trinity Term.
Teachers and students will resort back to The Online Learning Initiative which began towards the end of term two when the COVID-19 pandemic made it impossible for teachers to continue meeting students face to face.
Learning will continue through online platforms such as Google Classroom, Digicel Learning Hub, CXC Learning Hub and Flow Study and also activity packages will be provided for students with no access to internet. Arrangements will be made at each school for the collection of these activity packs.
The Ministry of Education has also put in place, support mechanisms for staff, teachers, students and parents who encounter difficulty or need advice.

Further, the Ministry continues to avail itself to principals, staff and parents and commits to exploring all avenues to ensure the continuation of learning for ALL students.
