Healed and The Young Gentlemen’s Club of The Julie Roberts Foundation recently hosted a “Etiquette and Prom ” event for high school students.
The President of the Young Gentlemen’s Club, Danny Joseph and founder Julie Roberts approached a few high schools and requested two students for participation.
In a press statement, Roberts is of the opinion that etiquette isn’t being practiced at an optimal level and considering that she was cultured into this sort of behavior from an early age, it’s something she wants to share in order to help improve our social structure.
“The etiquette taught wasn’t limited to only Table manners, but also included how to prepare for an interview, tips on dressing appropriately for different occasions and even how to ask someone out on a date,” she explained.
The sessions were facilitated by Miss Cornillia Hazel and Sade Samuel. There were also character-building exercises and motivational speeches.
The female students were also presented a prom dress garnished with a manicure and makeup gift certificate, while the young men were gifted a prom suit and a pedicure voucher.
“The entire event was well received and the students will be working on future projects affiliated with the Foundation.”The foundation intends on doing more etiquette classes and community outreach projects in the future and thanks the many sponsors for their support in hosting “Etiquette and Prom” 2022.
