20 year old Savahnn James from Roseau has won the Miss Dominica National Queen Pageant 2020. In her introduction, James said that she is a city gem who is about to bring you real Mas on the Savannah grass.
Savahnn who is Miss National Bank of Dominica and Greens Wholesale also took the awards for Best Talent and Best response to question. She was crowned by Marisol John who won the crown in 2019.
Primrose David came in second winning awards for Best Swimwear, Best in Swimwear and Best in Evening wear while Shannon St.Hillaire came in third winning awards for Ms. Photogenic,
Best Costume, Best in Costume and Best Evening wear.The other contestants were Melanie Charles who was awarded Ms. Amity, kadisha Joseph, Elnarrah Emmanuel and Kimra Charles.
The Miss Dominica 2020 pageant was hosted by Ferdina Frampton and veteran Raymond Lawrence. There were performances from Tasha P, Marsha, and the reigning Junior Calypso Monarch, Malik De Examiner Darroux.
The show was an exquisite display of talent with a massive crowd who appreciated the effort by the contestants as well as the guests artists.
