The Celebration of Basketball Generations

The Dominica Amateur Basketball Association will host its All-Star break this weekend, May 19 & 20, 2023. The best players from across Generations will be on display this weekend.  Generation X (1965 to 1980), Millennials (1981 – 1996) and Generation Z (1997 – 2012).  

The All-Star Break this weekend has been themed as “the Celebration of Basketball Generations”. Each night there will be three games. Game 1 & 2 Battle of the Borders, where the ASC Banelot U15 & U17 will play against the Dominica U15 All Stars and Dominica U17 – ALBA Team for both nights. Game 2 night 1 we will get to witness the Veterans who participate in the league battle against each other.   

Game 2 night 2 we will see battle of Team Donnie vs. Team Peter, the current president vs the past president. Each premier league teams will submit three players and on Thursday 18th May 2023 we will host a players draft to determine who plays for Team Donnie and who plays for team Peter.

Friday 19th May 2023      

5:00 pm – ASC BaneLot U15 – Guadeloupe vs. Dominica U15 All Stars

7:00 pm – ASC BaneLot U17 – Guadeloupe vs. Dominica U17 – ALBA Team

9:00 pm – DABA Veteran All-Star A vs. DABA Veteran All-Star B

Saturday 20th May 2023

5:00pm ASC Banelot U15 – Guadeloupe vs. Dominica U15 All Stars

7:00 pm – ASC Banelot U17 – Guadeloupe vs. Dominica U17 – ALBA Team

9:00 pm – Team Donnie vs. Team Peter

We will also be having giveaways for fans. WE extend a special invitation to all to come down to the Massacre Indoor Sports Complex this weekend to witness “The Celebration of Basketball Generations”. We welcome the our friends from Guadeloupe as they join us in this celebration.
