Dominica will join sister islands in the Caribbean in a silent protest/ march on Friday, October 18, 2019.

The March organized by the Business and Professional Women of Dominica will be to bring attention to the issue of violence against women and children.

The March will begin at the Arawak House of Culture and end at the Roseau Bayfront, where a small ceremony will be held.

President of the Business and Professional Women, Rhoda St. John says that too often, children and women are abused and nothing is being done. She urges the general public to join in solidarity.
