Bridgetown, Barbados: On a night where excellence was celebrated, Sagicor Financial Company Ltd., toasted the exceptional work and top performance of its leading Advisors and Administrative (Admin.) team members across its Group of Companies during its Group annual awards ceremony. Held at the Hyatt Regency in Trinidad and Tobago on Saturday, May 18th, under the theme Invictus, the distinguished event saw the best of the financial services entity, shine. Sales Advisors took home awards in several key categories, and Advisors Gregory Lyder of Aruba, Sophia Howard of Barbados and Jeden Samuel of Antigua and Barbuda were two-time winners, taking home awards in the categories of Leading Advisor, Cases, Leading Advisor, First Year Commission or Annualized Premium Income and Leading Advisor, Conservation or Persistency.
Brizane Best of Barbados took home the award for Group Pioneer of the Year, while the Group’s Contributor of the Year went to Dominic Medford of Trinidad and Tobago. The most prestigious awards of the evening, the Sagicorian Employee of the Year, and the Sagicorian Manager of the Year, were won by Krishaun Dunkley of Jamaica and Calvin Husbands of Barbados, respectively, to much pomp, pageantry, and cheers from a packed Hyatt Ballroom.
In his address to awardees, President and CEO, Andre Mousseau, expressed appreciation, noting that Invictus speaks to the resilience and determination of the human spirit. “As the highest of performers in Sagicor, you give life to what it means to be unconquered and undefeated, and you embody the essence of Invictus. Over the last year, you’ve faced challenges head on and determined your own outcome with resolve and courage. I am proud to lead a team that define themselves by these qualities.”
