Police Make Arrest In Death Of Former DBS Employee

The Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force(CDPF) has  arrested and charged Andy Esprit of Campbell, for the 2017 death of former DBS employee Kurt Matthew.

Esprit, who is being represented by Attorney Wayne Norde was released on $50,000.00 bail with his father Aries Esprit as surety. According to the police, Esprit lost control of his vehicle and crashed into vehicle registration number TE348, as Matthew was about to enter said vehicle.

Matthew sustained multiple injuries and was transported to the Accident and Emergency Department of the Princess Margaret Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead by a medical doctor.

Esprit is being charged for causing the death of Kurt Matthew by dangerous driving.
