The Paix bouche sub-branch of the National Cooperative Credit Union was partly destroyed after Hurricane Maria in September 2017. On Friday 8th March 2019, a small ceremony was held to reopen the branch to the public.

The Branch is now opened for business. Opening hours are Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 3 pm and Friday 8 am to 5 pm.
