The Paix Bouche Eagles has proven once again that they are a force to be reckoned with in basketball, emerging winners of the Neville ‘Moose’ Pierre Basketball Tournament.
The tournament held in memory of Neville ‘Moose’ Pierre was held on the weekends from September 15th to October 1st at the Weirs Hardcourt.
Pierre who passed away tragically is remembered as one of the best basketballers on island. Further, he was instrumental in organizing many teams in Marigot and facilitating their participation in tournaments.
Six teams from across the island took part in the tournament. They are

Paritech Warriors
BAA Sharks
767 Young Ballers
767 SC Dominators
Westcoast Ballers
D-Treads Blazers
Paix Bouche Eagles
The 767 SC Dominators were the first runner up and the Most Valuable Player(MVP) award went to Sharma Felicite of the Paix Bouche Eagles.
All the teams received trophies as well as ECD$2000 for the winning team and ECD$1000 for the runners up.
