Nine (9) students from five secondary schools will compete for the title of Calypso Junior Monarch 2019. They are:

- Jemima “De Gem” Mills-Convent HighSchool
- Tyesha “Saucy Tee” Allie – Convent High School
- Malik “De Examiner “Darroux – St. Mary’s Academy
- Jedan “De Jed” Jno.Baptiste – Dominica Grammar School
- Kahyah “Kayah” Delsol -Goodwill Secondary School
- Lauryn “Lauryn” Charles -Goodwill Secondary
- Nickima “De Empress” Alfred -St. Martin Secondary School
- Stefan “DeNation” Nation- St.Mary’s Primary
Lemar Irish ‘Irish Kidd” is the reigning Calypso Monarch. The Calypso Junior Monarch competition will be held today, Friday 22nd February 2019 at 6 pm.
