MISS DOMINICA MARISOL TO VIE FOR MISS JAYCEES INTERNATIONAL & MISS CARIBBEAN CULTURE

Discover Dominica Authority is pleased to inform that Marisol John, Dominica’s reigning Carnival Queen will commence her participation in regional pageants in the upcoming days. Dominica has successfully participated in regional pageants for more than 10 years now but missed out on the action in 2018 due to the aftereffects of Hurricane Maria in 2017.

Antigua’s Miss Jaycees International 2019 will be her first regional competition and will take place on July 31st at the Antigua Recreation Ground under the theme ‘One Region, One people, Many Cultures’. Miss Caribbean Culture Pageant takes place immediately after on August 3rd with the swimwear segment and continues overall on August 5 2019, in Nevis.

Miss Dominica 2019 has already amassed many fans and well-wishers here in Dominica. The Discover Dominica Authority would like to thank the Queen Show Committee, Team Marisol, her family and friends who are working tirelessly to enable participation in the regional pageants.
