The Education Minister, Mrs. Octavia Alfred has confirmed that a consultant is presently on island to help in putting together a peace curriculum to be used in schools around the island. According to her, the consultancy may also be used as a resource person to assist teachers with their Health and Family Life Education lessons on conflict resolution and stress management.

The consultant has already begun research in the Eastern district by visiting the schools and finding out some of the issues that they are faced with.
