Mandisa has a long history performing in the arts and music which stems way back to her primary school days.  She played the piano for about a year at primary school while living in Antigua with her father. Upon her return home, she didnt get the opportunity to contine learning, however, during her highschool years she was a choir fanatic, being the soloist and performing at school plays, in pageants and festivals such as the St. Cecilia choir festival. Mandisa loved singing and continued to sing in the choir at church and was often called upon to sing the psalms.
