Madannah Auguiste attended the National Society of High School Scholars Recognition Ceremony at the Gaylord Convention Center in Washington DC from Friday 11th – Saturday 12th, 2023 where she received the scholastic medallion at the closing ceremony on Saturday.
Madannah Auguiste, a then student of the Wills Strathmore Stevens School, won the DBS Radio, Ministry of Education, Courts sponsored National Reading Competition. She was a nine (9) years old third grader and was the first to win this award for her school and the Northeast.
Madannah, who is now 17, attends the Denzel Washington School of the Arts in Mount Vernon New York where she will be moving up to 12th grade in September. Prior she attended the North Star Academy in New Jersey, where she won the Rising Star Award and was inducted into the school’s Hall of Fame. The National Society of High School announced that Madannah was chosen to become a member of its organizaiton.
Madannah is the daughter of Matthew Auguiste and Liz Auguiste and is pursuing her studies in Fashion Design and Performing Arts.
” Madannah loves painting, has auditioned for Babizone and NYlA Talent, and is passionate about acting, singing, and fashion design. She understands that God has gifted her in many ways and wants to use them to positively impact others, particularly young people like herself.
