Herbal Harmony’s PCOS Month’s Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) Awareness with a Month-Long Series of Activities

Herbal Harmony, a local provider of specially formulated tea bags designed to support the female reproductive system, is proud to announce the culmination of its month-long initiative to raise awareness for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). Throughout September, Herbal Harmony has hosted a variety of activities aimed at promoting health, wellness, and education about PCOS, a condition that affects millions of women worldwide.

The awareness campaign featured several key events, including “Farmacy,” an engaging tour of the new market led by health and wellness enthusiast Sister Nats of Give Life. This tour provided attendees with valuable insights into locally-sourced, natural remedies that can support reproductive health. Additionally, participants were invited to explore Jolly’s Pharmacy, where pharmacist Leona Jeremiah highlighted supplements available to help manage PCOS symptoms.

In an effort to promote fitness and overall well-being, Herbal Harmony also organized a Cardio Jam session, encouraging participants to engage in physical activity as part of a healthy lifestyle. The campaign extended its reach through informative radio programs and participation in industry events, further amplifying the message of PCOS awareness and the resources available to those affected by the condition. A visit to an All-girls school was also successfully hosted and further information on how to identify symptoms to foster early-detection. A partnership with Triage Health also allowed for women to get tested for their specific type of PCOS. This testing is available at a discount for the month of September, PCOS month.

To conclude this impactful season, Herbal Harmony is excited to host a panel discussion and book launch, reinforcing its commitment to PCOS advocacy. The event will be moderated by esteemed PCOS advocate Trudy Christian and will feature an expert panel comprising Dr. Natasha Maxine-Esprit from Triage Health, Leona Jeremiah from Jolly’s Pharmacy, and the ever-inspiring Sister Nats of Give Life.

“We are thrilled to bring together such a knowledgeable and passionate group of individuals to share their expertise and answer questions from the community,” said Rachel Shillingford, C.E.O of Herbal Harmony. “Our goal is to empower women with the information and resources they need to manage PCOS and lead healthier lives.” Ms. Shilling ford will also be launching her book titled “Thriving with PCOS” which will be available on Amazon.

The live session will provide attendees with the opportunity to engage directly with the panel, ask questions, and gain valuable insights into managing PCOS. Herbal Harmony encourages everyone to tune in and participate in this informative and empowering event.

Join us in our mission to raise awareness and support for those affected by PCOS. Together, we can make a difference.
