At a joint operation which consisted of the Criminal Investigations Department, Special Services Unit and Drugs squad which transpired on the 19th August, 2023 at dawn, police arrested a 47 year old male.

Connel Angel was arrested on suspicion of trafficking and cultivating marijuana. Police seized a total of 75,818 grams of marijuana which returned positive after being tested.

Connel Angel, was then formally charged for drug trafficking and cultivation of marijuana. At his Court appearance he pleaded not guilty to both charges. He was then fined $10,000 for the cultivation of marijuana and $13,000 on the count of trafficking.
