We are inviting suitably qualified nationals of Dominica to apply for the following position:
SERVICE STATION SUPERVISOR
The Service Station Supervisor is responsible for providing a high level of service at all times to all customers by efficient supervision and guidance to staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Ensure that adequate staffing resources are available for work at all times to ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction
- Ensure the timely ordering of inventory to avoid stock outs and to minimize the loss of inventory
- Be responsible for co-ordinating proper record keeping and reporting of all prepaid customers purchases and deposits, ensuring that appropriate invoices are dispatched in a timely manner where required by a customer
- Be responsible for the daily administration of petty cash within the company’s guidelines, ensuring that proper invoices and records are kept to substantiate expenditures
- Be responsible for collating weekly work schedules (rosters) in conjunction with sales officers, ensuring that all changes are communicated to the respective personnel in a timely manner
- Be responsible for managing and directing staff under your direct supervision and control to ensure the smooth operation of the business on a 24 hour basis, 7 days per week
- Prepare weekly payroll for entry level personnel for review and authorization by Country Manager
- Ensure the input of data for preparation of the fuel inventory report on a daily basis, while maintaining systems to ensure the correct amount of fuel received from NP balances with the purchases
- Conduct daily walk through of the facility to ensure that all equipment are fully operational. Where defects are noted, bring these to attention of the Country Manager along with your supporting recommendations to rectify.
- Be responsible for overall housekeeping of the facility including the external wash rooms and the forecourt, ensuring that the respective contractors maintain the company’s standard for cleanliness.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST IDEALLY POSSESS:
- CAT or ACCA Level II
- At least three (3)years’ experience in Accounting of which at least two (2) years working in a supervisory capacity
- Knowledge of Inventory Management
- Computer Literacy
- Written, Oral, Interpersonal Communication
- Any other equivalent combination of qualification and experience.
