| The Dominica Association of Industry and Commerce (DAIC) is thrilled to announce the resounding success of the Eggs and Issues Business Breakfast, held on May 30th at the Prevo Cine Mall Ballroom. The event saw an enthusiastic turnout of 70 passionate business professionals from various sectors, all eager to engage and learn. Attendees were treated to insightful and engaging presentations from a distinguished panel of experts. Ms. Arthlyn Nesty from the Companies and Intellectual Properties Office provided invaluable insights into business registration and intellectual property protection. Mr. Claudius Lestrade of the Financial Services Unit shared critical information on accessing funding and maintaining financial compliance, while Mr. Pinard from the Inland Revenue Division offered practical advice on tax obligations and filing processes for small businesses. The morning commenced with a warm welcome, enhanced by delicious treats, teas, coffee, and cold drinks, all generously provided by HHV Whitchurch & Co. Limited.
