Dr. Shamina Aubuchon features on CBS Morning with Gayle King

Upon interview with Emonews in April 2022, Dominican born Dr. Shamina Aubuchon, spoke off the launching of her children’s book “If You Touch, I’ll Tell”. The book was officially launched on May 17, 2022. Being a survivor of child sexual abuse herself, Dr. Aubuchon wrote this book in an effort to educate children and parents alike, on the impacts of child sexual abuse.

With her book making head waves, she was invited to a live interview on CBS Mornings with host Gayle King on Wednesday August 17, 2022. In a post following the interview she expressed, “While I worked on this book, never in my wildest dream did I imagine I would become an internationally known author. My intention in helping children was and will continue to be pure of heart.”

Further, she added, “So many nights I cried over the keyboard, trying to get the words just right. I felt God working through this book in my words, my ideas but most especially through my amazing and talented illustrator Mariia Luzina.”

Dr. Aubuchon conveyed deepest gratitude to Gayle King, the amazing cohosts and the warm and friendly crew at CBS Mornings. It is her hope that through this interview she was able to encourage a child and soften the hearts of the predators.

Fascinatingly, in May 2022, “If You Touch, I’ll Tell” was rated number 10 by Amazon for new releases in “Child Abuse” related books. The book is available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble and all the major book sellers.
