The Ender 3 v2 printer, which is a leading brand 3D manufacturing, will enable students to create 3D models of various environmental concepts, such as renewable energy systems, sustainable buildings, and natural landscapes. By using this technology, students will have the opportunity to visualize the impact of human activities on the environment and learn how they can make a positive contribution to mitigating the effects of climate change.

Mark Lewis, co-founder of The Green Houses Realty Group, expressed his delight at being able to support Roosevelt Douglas Primary School in this way. “As a real estate company, we are keenly aware of the impact that climate change can have on the built environment. By donating this 3D printer, we hope to inspire young people to think creatively about how they can help to protect our planet.”

Mark Lewis added: “My late mother, Joan A Robinson, cherished RDPS and its students. Therefore, we are pleased to be able to support the Roosevelt Douglas Primary School in this way, and we hope that this donation will encourage students to take an interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) subjects, which are critical to addressing the challenges of climate change.”

The Robinson family, who have a long-standing history of charitable giving Dominica, are enthusiastic supporters of this initiative. “We are delighted to be able to give back to the community in Dominica in this way and honor Joan A. Robinson and her legacy. We hope that this donation will inspire young people to take an interest in environmental issues,” said another spokesperson for the family.

The 3D printer was officially presented to the Roosevelt Douglas Primary School on April 4th, 2023. The donation is also part of a wider initiative by The Green Houses Realty Group to promote sustainable development and environmental awareness in communities around the world.
