A new embassy was inaugurated in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday to represent the people of the Commonwealth of Dominica.

According to reports in the media, the inauguration ceremony was attended by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Minister of Energy and Industry, Suhail Al Mazroui, who was a Guest of Honour and who participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Prime Minister of Dominica, Hon. Roosevelt Skerrit, said that the new embassy will serve a “small but dynamic” community of Dominican economic citizens in the UAE, citizenship purchased under the growing Citizenship by Investment (CBI) Programme.

This embassy is the country’s first mission in the Middle East.
