The Building which housed the old wing of the Dominica Grammar School (DGS) for many years was demolished over the weekend.

The DGS welcomed a new building adjacent to the site of the old one in 2010. The construction another wing is set to begin soon.

The DGS was established in 1893 and has made its name as one of the top Government secondary schools on the island.
