One of Dominica’s most August education institutions, the Dominica Grammar School celebrates 126 Anniversary this week. The week was marked with visits from old boys and girls who shared their school experience with the current student population.
The highlight was a thanksgiving service at the Fatima church in Newtown that was presided over by the Dean of the Roseau cathedral, Father Nigel Karam. There were several officials from the Ministry of Education in attendance.
Past students held talks with the students and they were also asked to wear their tie to work. The Environmental Club at the school also made a presentation. The week of celebrations will end on Friday, where students and faculty will be treated to refreshments.
