Roseau, Dominica – (April 13, 2021) Dominica copped one of the top three awards for most popular international course for online travel agents in the UK and internationally. The award announcement was made by the Online Travel Training (OTT) on March 26, 2021. Though travel in 2020 was adversely affected by restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic, travel agents were increasing their knowledge on international travel in preparation for the eventual resumption of travel.
Dominica received 21, 577 trade attention minutes in the USA on the OTT platform, securing its place as the 3rd Most Popular International course on the OTT platform for 2020. Dominica has offered travel agents online destination training through the OTT platform for over 6 years. Director of Tourism, Colin Piper says, “This award is a true testament that our hard work and dedication in reaching the international travel agents and promoting Dominica is producing results.
