The Commonwealth of Dominica has announced new entry protocols for vaccinated travelers. These new
protocols came in effect on Wednesday May 19, 2021.
The new travel protocols details the pre arrival protocols, disembarkation, Safe in Nature managed experience and testing requirements for both vaccinated and non-vaccinated travelers.
With the recent launch of the destination’s global campaign “In Our Nature” and our new travel protocols, Dominica’s indicates its readiness to welcome travelers to its shores while increasing consumer confidence and positive traveller intent.
Honourable Denise Charles, Minister for Tourism, International Transport and Maritime Initiatives, noted that these protocols now afford travelers to Dominica the opportunity for a safe, rejuvenating and transformative experience in the Nature Island.
Dominica’s COVID-19 cases are well controlled and at a minimum, with 41% of the eligible population haven taken their first dose of the vaccine and a continued community drive to encourage vaccination. Along with the Safe in Nature program and the extended stay visa Work in Nature program, and now with protocols addressing vaccinated travelers, Dominica is well positioned to stimulate travel to the destination.
