Dominica has recorded an impressive 82.6% pass rate in the October 2024 sitting of the Regional Examination for Nurse Registration (RENR). This accomplishment reflects the hard work and dedication of nursing students across the island. A total of 23 candidates participated, including 17 first-time sitters and 6 re-sit candidates.
The General Nursing Council extended heartfelt congratulations to all successful candidates, with special recognition given to Ms. Stacey Fiona Joseph of the Dominica State College (DSC), Faculty of Health Sciences, who achieved the highest score.
In addition to Ms. Joseph, several other students distinguished themselves as top performers:

- Chaune Fagan, All Saints University
- Verlyn Mason, All Saints University
This outstanding performance highlights the dedication of Dominica’s nursing students and the strength of the nation’s nursing programs. The General Nursing Council expressed pride in the achievements of all candidates, as their success contributes significantly to the quality of healthcare in Dominica.
