We announce the passing of 96 year old Alphonsia Veronica Giraud better known as Fonsie or Fonsia of Portsmouth. She died on May 19th, 2022.
She is survived by:
Six children: Stafford Sandy, Joan Casimir, Andrina, Andrea, Andrew ‘Bird’ and Jason ‘Boyie’ Bellony
17 grandchildren including Elvis Sandy, Michael Charles, Claudia and Claudette Casimir, Leo Panthier, Yinka, Nike, Sola, Lekan, and Peju Oyeyemi, Ernst Bellony, Shyah Joseph, Asha and Sinead Bellony, Jason, Denae, and Dontae Bellony
25 great grandchildren including Devin, Landon, Joel, Sharie, Dori, Said, Ariel, Lindsay, Tristan, Naisa, Adrienne, Casey and Janice

Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday June 4th, 2022, at the Portsmouth Roman Catholic Church at 2.00 p.m. Interment at the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
